Summer Divemaster Training Program for Beginners: Building Your Okinawan Underwater Career. This 6-8 month intensive pre-employment training program (including a 1.5-month probationary period) is designed for those aspiring to a career in the diving industry. We not only teach you how to dive, but also involve you in the actual operation of a dive shop, comprehensively developing your professional skills from basic courses to professional divemaster internships.

Participant Qualification
- Visa requirements: You must hold a legal residence status in Japan (such as: working holiday visa, permanent residence, spouse visa, etc.).
- Language proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese (those with multilingual abilities, such as English/Japanese, will be given priority).
- Driver's license requirement: Must hold a regular driver's license.
- Health requirements: No serious illnesses; must pass a physician's evaluation and sign a diver's medical health examination form.
- Qualifications: Basic computer skills, proactive attitude, and a love for the ocean.
- Required Equipment: After the trial period, participants must provide their own complete set of personal diving equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins).
Training Costs and Value
- PADI Open Water Diver Course (OW) 81,500 yen
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOW) Course: 77,500 yen
- PADI Rescue Diver Course: 81,500 yen
- Emergency First Response Officer (EFR) Training: 25,000 yen
- PADI Divemaster Course: 540,000 Yen
- Professional Experience Accumulation Diving (Pre-DM 20 Dives) 220,000 Yen
- Total tuition subsidy value: ¥1,025,500

Monthly Allowance & Benefits
To support trainees' living expenses during the 6-month training period, we provide the following subsidies:
- Accommodation allowance (or you can choose to stay in dormitory accommodation)
- Lunch subsidy
- Living allowance (starting to be paid to those with good performance after 2-3 months)
- Vehicle use: Limited use of company vehicles is permitted (personal use on rest days requires payment of basic fees).
- Post-training benefits: Upon becoming a full-fledged DM (Distributor Manager), your basic monthly salary will be adjusted, plus commissions, referral fees, and equipment sales bonuses.
- The required timeframe is 6-8 months (including a 1.5-month trial period).
- All students who complete the course are eligible for a student discount, applicable to all activities and equipment purchases.

Course syllabus and internship content
Phase 1: Basic and Advanced (1-2 months)
- Complete OW and AOW theory and water training
- Learning about diving equipment setup and management and basic store support
- Learning about diver safety and risk management
- Participate in guest relationship management: Greet and see off guests, fill out forms, upload event photos and make contacts.
- Professional Photography: Blue Light Photography in Green Cave, Snorkeling and Introductory Diving Photography Techniques
Phase Two: Rescue and Experience Accumulation (3-4 months)
- Complete EFR and Rescue training.
- Accumulated 40 dives, learning dive site routes (Blue Cave, Yamada Coral Farm).
- Leading practical experience: Participating in snorkeling and dive-sneak (DSD) activities
- Hands-on workshops: Dive site mapping, professional dive briefing, and reactivation exercises.
Phase Three: DM Professional Internship (5-6 months)
- Water skills: Demonstration of 24 basic movements, skill display, and search and retrieval simulation scenarios.
- Professional Photography: Blue Light Photography in the Green Cave, Snorkeling and Introductory Diving Photography Techniques.
- Leading Practices: Assisting instructors in conducting courses, assisting student divers, and leading snorkeling and introductory diving (DSD) activities.
Trainee Responsibilities
- Snorkeling and Diving Beginner Guide/Assistant
- Pre-trip instructions for diving and snorkeling
- Dive shop operation support
- Guest reception and farewell, preparation of gas cylinders/equipment, etc.
- General cleaning includes equipment cleaning, toilet cleaning, equipment cleaning, and floor cleaning.
- Store responsibilities include: providing customer service, guiding customers in filling out activity forms, processing and reporting daily settlements and payments, uploading and sending activity photos to customers, and contacting customers for confirmation, etc.
- Assisting the company in its other business and activities
- Diving industry and career development
- Protect the diving environment
What do I need to bring?
- After the trial period: You will need to bring your own complete set of personal professional equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins)
- Swimsuit, beach sandals, towel, one ID photo
Please note
- 1.5-Month Probation Period: This program includes a 1.5-month probationary period for evaluation. If the trainee's performance or skills fail to meet the company's professional standards, the training program will be terminated.
- Fee Notes: The above subsidies do not include PADI official course materials, certificate application fees, or annual membership fees after training.
- Contractual Obligations: If the contract is terminated before the completion of 6 months, the student shall be responsible for paying all course fees incurred during the period.
- Shop responsibilities include environmental cleaning (cleaning equipment and facilities, and beach cleaning, etc.).
- You are prohibited from taking a plane within 18 hours after diving.
- Our store may use event photos for promotional purposes. Please inform us in advance if you do not wish your photos to be used.
