PADI RESCUE DIVER course will optimize the way you dive.

Learn how to identify problems and solve them, gain confidence and have real fun in the process.


Through theoretical study and skill practice with the instructor, you will learn to think from the perspective of a rescue diver. All PADI courses are flexible and performance-based. You'll practice basic rescue techniques and then prove you can use them effectively in open water.

If necessary, the itinerary can be customized.

Participant requirements 

"Advanced Open Water Diver Certificate" or "Open Water Diver Certificate" Holder (regardless of system)

In addition, Emergency First Responder (EFR) qualifications completed within 24 months are required.

If desired, you may also choose to complete the ERF course concurrently with your training in this course.

*If only 1 person ends up taking the class - additional fee is 3,000 yen per dive / payable on site

The first day is from approximately 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

The next day is from about 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Schedule

Day 1

  • Meet Up
  • Theory Class
  • Water-based Enhanced Class
  • Noon break (lunch time)
  • Self-rescue exercises + Rescue exercises 1-10
  • Rescue skills + simulation scenario training class (shore diving x3)
  • Disband

Day 2

  • Meet up 
  • Take a boat to the dive site
  • Rescue Skills + Simulation Scenario Training Class (Ship Diving x2)
  • Assessment examination
  • Finish

*The time and location may be adjusted due to the number of participants or weather

    Fees include

    • All venue and boat fees, coaching fees, equipment fees, oxygen cylinder fees and insurance fees
    • PADI Rescue Diver License application fee

    What do I need to bring?

    1. Swimsuit (it is recommended to wear your swimsuit under your normal clothes before gathering)
    2. Beach slippers
    3. Towel
    4. ID photo (electronic file is also acceptable)
    5. Please bring your own anti-dizziness medicine if necessary*
    6. A rescue certificate requires an *EFR certificate. You do not need to apply for EFR if you already have a first aid certificate equivalent to EFR that is valid within 2 years (including CPR, AED, secondary rescue, ex: Red Cross first aid).

    Please note

    • * It is prohibited to flight within 18 hours after diving.
    • When booking, please accurately enter the English name, height, weight, shoe size, representative’s mobile phone number, etc. of all participants.
    • Participants must have completed the PADI Open Water course .
    • People with circulatory/respiratory diseases, high blood pressure, otitis media, epilepsy, diabetes, liver disease, pregnant women, and those who have consumed excessive amounts of alcohol the day before/that day are prohibited from participating in this tour.
    • Be sure to read and confirm the health checklist .
    • Contact lenses may be lost in water, so it is recommended to wear daily disposable contact lenses.
    • The coach will take free photos for passengers under safe conditions, and a download link will be provided after the event.
    • If only minors are participating, a guardian will need to sign a consent form to participate.
    • Children under 11 years old are not allowed to participate alone.
    • Our store may use photos from the event for promotional purposes. If you do not want us to use your photos, please inform the coach before the event.
